Hazel Coldiron is a bright young woman who lives with Charcot Marie Tooth Disease. Her family wants to find a cure.

An annual event to celebrate the Kentucky Derby while raising awareness and funds for CMTA to cure CMT

In 2015, the Coldiron family learned that their daughter Hazel was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT). Since then, they have been actively involved with the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) to support research and work toward finding a cure. To raise awareness and combine their family's tradition of hosting an annual Derby-themed celebration, they created the Coldiron Derby — an event dedicated to bringing the community together in support of those living with CMT.
